Another surf documentary by Will Lucas, Surf 64 Productions In the summer of 1975, six young surfers from The Jupiter Beach Florida area ventured out for their first El Salvador surf trip. The power of the Pacific Ocean was new to half the group, but as with any travelers at the time, other challenges faced them as well. By the end of the trip, they had all worked their way into surfing the points at Punta Roca and Zunzal with confidence. 42 years later, Wayne Cornelius, Doug Bent, Bob Washam and Paul Hass tell their version of story behind the remaining Super 8mm film from the trip. Joining them on the trip were Paul’s brother John as well as Royce Powell who did most of the filming. The original film was lost over the years, leaving only a low resolution copy captured on disk along with some faded memories.
